I
İlk bölüm sonat allegrosu formundadır. İki enstrüman arasındaki ilişki, karşıtlık ve birleşme arasında salınır: temalar sergilenir, gelişmede parçalanır, yeniden sergide başka bir ışık altında geri döner. Enerji ve yapı bu bölümün merkezindedir.

II – Şarkı
Üç bölmeli şarkı formu (A–B–A).

Sonata, malzemeyi sürekli yeniden yazarak kapanır: aynı çekirdek, on ayrı yüz.

This sonata for violin and piano is in three movements. The movements lean on classical formal traditions while rebuilding them in their own language. Dialogue, tension and transformation form the backbone of the work.

I
The first movement is in sonata-allegro form. The relationship between the two instruments oscillates between opposition and union: themes are presented, fragmented in the development, and return under another light in the recapitulation. Energy and structure stand at the centre of this movement.

II – Song
Ternary song form (A–B–A). A more inward, more song-like language. The middle section brings contrast; on the return the first material is no longer the same — it comes back as a slightly altered, more fragile echo.

III – Theme and Variations
A theme and ten variations. In each variation the theme takes on a different character, texture or rhythmic identity. The sonata closes by continually rewriting its material: the same core, ten distinct faces.
